In Buenos Aires, I rented a flat for 6 weeks with a friend I had met in Patagonia.  It is a really sweet flat in the middle of the cool part of town.  Buenos Aires is kindof a mix of Paris and New York, but extremely cheap because of the Economic crisis they are having now.

The apartment included everything, and I mean everything.

This is the apartment Canadian, Kevin Kostuik.  I met Kevin in Patagonia, and we happened to be in Buenos Aires at the same time, so we rented the flat together.  Kevin is a Canadian physicist turned US software salesman.

Here we see Kevin opening his birthday presents.  I got him a mate gourd.  Mate is the bitter tea that is a national tradition in southern South America.  You drink it out of a hollowed out gourd through a metal straw with a filter.  It has quite a kick.
