So, we were lost, really lost.  Although we really don't know how lost we are in this picture, as we thought we were back on trail and camping by the correct lake.  Really should have purchased that map.  As it ends up we were like 4 lakes too early.  The next morning we hiked for about 6 hours through thick forest before we hit a trail marker.  We kept thinking we knew where we were, and then we would hit another lake that was not supposed to be there.  As it ends up, it was an easy hike along the ridge that we replaced with 10 hours of off trail pain.

Anyway, here we are drying out.  It was also our first camp dinner.  We had a few kinks to work out with the local produce.  We had crunchy pea soup mixed with jamon diablo (deviled ham--not good).

It was, however a great site.
