To our delight, our new British sidekick, Nick decided to do the trek around Pucon with us.  Nick had never done any backpacking, and it was excellent after all we had seen to see trekking through the eyes of a newbie.  It also helps that Nick is perhaps the largest repository of funny stories that I have ever encountered.  Although from the UK, Nick spends much of the year organizing large trance parties all over the world and bases out of South Africa.  With his collection of Flowered and velvet shirts, Nick was not exactly suited to hit the trail, but with a few borrowed items, we were off.
